Harper Hits Two Dingers, Marauders Win, 10-6
|
Bradenton defeated Hudson Valley, 10-6, in large part due to 21-year old shortstop Landon Harper. Harper drove in 5 runs. The shortstop had 1 double and 2 home runs for the Marauders. José Miguel Ramírez, now 1-1, was credited with the win in 4.1 innings of relief. He allowed 3 runs on 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 0. With the win, Bradenton is 11-7.
Leo Reynoso helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Bradenton a 2-0 lead.
"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Harper told the Bradenton Citizen.
