Marauders Drop to .500 After 3-0 Loss to Dash
|
Starting pitcher Dylan Burgess did his part in helping the Winston-Salem Dash thwart the Bradenton Marauders, 3-0. The loss puts Bradenton at 11-11.
Winston-Salem used the hitting of Gideon Lewis to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Dash on top, 2-0. For the game, Lewis had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Winston-Salem skipper Brandon Holmes. "I can't complain."
