Spirited fans greeted the Hudson Valley Renegades for their clash with the Winston-Salem Dash.
The Winston-Salem Dash picked up a win at George M. Steinbrenner Field, topping the Hudson Valley Renegades, 4-0. On the mound for Winston-Salem was left-hander Oscar Armiso. He played a principal role in the triumph. With the win, Winston-Salem pushed its record to 24-10.
Trent Rickman had a direct impact on the outcome. Rickman contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Winston-Salem up, 1-0.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Rickman told the Winston-Salem Chronicle.
