Red Sox Suffer One-Run Loss at St. Lucie
The St. Lucie Mets, despite a fine performance by Salem pitcher Adam Guffey, grabbed a 2-1 win at Tradition Field. Guffey allowed 2 runs over 7 innings. Jordan Jefferson notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. St. Lucie, with the win, sits at 12-29.
