Rockies Fall Short, 3-2, at Oakland
|
The Oakland Athletics overcame a good performance by Colorado right fielder Keiran Coleman to knock off Colorado, 3-2, at O.co Coliseum. Coleman went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. B.J. Vila recorded his 2nd save for Oakland. With the loss, Colorado is 0-4.
Harley Valles helped out the Oakland cause in the bottom of the second inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the shortstop was 2 for 2 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Valles said after the game.
