Blue Jays Stay Hot With 4-1 Win
|
The Dunedin Blue Jays downed the Traverse City Pit Spitters, 4-1, at Sun Sox Ballpark. Stellar pitching by Joshua Rosati had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. Fitzgerald Reynolds got the save, the 8th for him this season. The current losing streak for Traverse City has reached 4 games.
Dunedin used the hitting of Bill Burrow to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blue Jays on top, 4-1. For the game, Burrow had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
