Walker Shackles Jupiter in 1-0 Fire Frogs Win
|
Florida took on Jupiter in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Jayce Walker, in particular, was fantastic. The Florida left-hander helped his team snag the win, 1-0. Mark Godwin earned the save, his 1st, for the Fire Frogs. The Fire Frogs improved their record to 22-33 with the win over Jupiter.
Walker confounded Jupiter hitters. Over 7 innings, he allowed no runs on 2 hits.
"Jayce did a good job of shutting their lineup down," said Florida manager Josh Constantin.
