Carolina Gets 8-5 Win Against Marauders
|
Mudcats designated hitter Ebenezer Nadeau left his mark on his team's 8-5 win over the Bradenton Marauders. Nadeau, who is tied for 3rd in the ECL in bases on balls with 35, went 2-3 with a triple and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Carolina in the contest. The 7th-place Mudcats lifted their record to 28-33.
Troy Radford helped out the Carolina cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances.
"We scored enough runs to win," said Nadeau.
