Bradenton picked up a win at Charlotte Sports Park, bumping off the Charlotte Stone Crabs, 5-3. Pitcher Ryder Kennedy was a major reason the Marauders emerged victorious. Armando Ortiz earned the save for Bradenton. The win gives Bradenton a season record of 42-29.

Nathan Gordon, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2067 draft, had a timely hit in the top of the fifth inning. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, the Bradenton left fielder hit a run-scoring single. That put the Marauders in front, 2-1.

"Winning makes the heart grow fonder -- for more winning," said Gordon, cracking a smile.
