Renegades Trounce Keys, 10-3
|
The Frederick Keys could not turn a fine performance from right fielder Tiki Bell into a win. Instead, the Hudson Valley Renegades prevailed, 10-3. Bell went 2 for 2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Hudson Valley is in third place in the East Coast League Mideast Division with a record of 45-25.
Wagner Abbatoy helped out the Hudson Valley cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the third baseman was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Frederick manager Jordan Ranjel said: "You try to find positives. We have to regroup and put this game behind us."
