Lupercio, Renegades March to 4-1 Victory
|
The 4-hit performance of Leo Lupercio helped the Hudson Valley Renegades beat the Salem Red Sox, 4-1. Bob Mauck earned the save for Hudson Valley, his 7th. Hudson Valley is looking good at 53-20.
With Hudson Valley trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Lupercio hit a circle change from Cody Bass for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Renegades ahead, 2-1.
"This team has the heart of a lion," said Renegades manager Bentley Love.
