The Carolina Mudcats and Florida Fire Frogs completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The Carolina Mudcats stifled the Florida Fire Frogs, 7-1, at Five County Stadium. Johnny Rangel had his hitting cap on. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Carolina. Thomas Aves earned the win to go to 4-2. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts in 6 innings of work.
