Renegades Down Marauders, 6-2
|
The Hudson Valley Renegades and Bradenton Marauders put on quite a show.
The Hudson Valley Renegades got a stellar performance from pitcher Mike Peck, who handcuffed the Bradenton offense en route to a win, 6-2, at LECOM Park. The second-place Renegades raised their record to 46-31.
The Renegades liked what they saw from Peck. The 22-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Marauders to no runs on 1 hit over 6.1 innings, and striking out 6.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Peck said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
