Renegades K-O Keys, 5-0
|
Hudson Valley starter Ryan Allyn put a stranglehold on the Frederick offense. The right-hander had complete command of his slider in leading the Renegades to a 5-0 win. With the win, Hudson Valley raised its record to 61-23.
Hudson Valley center fielder Nolan Davis contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 81st hit of the season and put the Renegades ahead, 2-0.
Davis called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
