Keys Sink Marauders, 3-1
|
LECOM Park was the site of a tense game between the Bradenton Marauders and Frederick Keys.
The Frederick Keys got a stellar performance from pitcher Luís Alaniz, who handcuffed the Bradenton offense en route to a win, 3-1, at LECOM Park. The 5th-place Keys go to 42-48.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Nick Um? The Frederick third baseman had a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Keys on top, 2-0. For the game, Um had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I really like what we did out there today," Um said after the game.
