Hammerheads Score Late, Upend Blue Jays, 6-5
|
Jupiter Hammerheads starter Kelly Reed was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Dunedin Blue Jays, 6-5. Jupiter occupies third place in the East Coast League Florida Division at 57-35.
Sebastian Santana was the walk-off hero for Jupiter. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hammerheads first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Santana said.
