Ethan Carson propelled his team to victory over the Winston-Salem Dash. The final score was 8-6, Cocoa. The Dash, now 46-44, have lost 7 in a row.

Waldo Walker had a big grand slam home run for the Flyers in the bottom of the third inning. With Cocoa leading 3-1 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Doug Spaulding and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Flyers on top, 7-1.

"Ethan is a gamer," said Cocoa manager Josh Baker.
