Fire Frogs Win 4-2 Nail-Biter Versus Pit Spitters
The Florida Fire Frogs dealt the Traverse City Pit Spitters a 4-2 loss in 15 innings at Osceola County Stadium. Kenny Trail was the star on offense. He was 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. With the win, Florida raised its record to 52-42.

Florida got a game-changing hit from Ruben Savala. The right fielder blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 15th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 7 at-bats, but it was a winner.
