The Lynchburg Hillcats picked up a win at BB&T Ballpark, knocking off the Winston-Salem Dash, 7-6. Starting pitcher Doug Trevor played a key role in the triumph. The winning pitcher was Trevor, now 7-6. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 4. Nolan Mojica, who leads the ECL in saves with 28, nailed down the save.

Lynchburg used a clutch at-bat from Malcolm Phang to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Hillcats ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Phang said after the game.

With the win, the Hillcats have a record of 52-43.
