The St. Lucie Mets racked up a win at Tradition Field, bumping off the Cocoa Flyers, 4-3. Rudy Royal, who started for St. Lucie, pitched effectively for his team. Jonathan Thomas earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 6-1. The win puts the Mets at 56-38, while the Flyers drop to 26-68.

Radman Eads was the walk-off hero for St. Lucie. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mets third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Eads said in his postgame press conference.
