The Flint Wolverines defeated the Peoria Chiefs, 6-3. Doing his part was third baseman Aiden Rachel, who went 4-4 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Jax Beacham wrapped it up, recording his 1st save. The win has Flint at 1-2.
Rachel had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth, when he hit a 2-run single. The Wolverines went on to win.
Said losing manager Joe Long: "We just didn't get it done tonight."
