Lansing Gets 6-2 Win Against Wolverines
Led by 22-year-old Euan Wright, the Lansing Lugnuts knocked off the Flint Wolverines, 6-2. Wright went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Lugnuts. Jay Hall came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The save went to Stanley McDonough, his 1st this season.

Wright had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 slider from A.J. Haddock, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Lugnuts a 5-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Wright.

"The key is not trying to do too much," said Wright.

The loss has the Wolverines at 9-3.
