Woolly Mammoths Deal Cubs 12-6 Setback
The performance of Tony Breaux proved critical in helping Westside beat South Bend, 12-6. The Woolly Mammoths second baseman was 4 for 5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. With the win, Westside boosts its record to 10-14.

Greg Dawson had a big 3-run home run for the Woolly Mammoths in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Westside trailing 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Ray Bjorkstrom and swatted a home run to right. It was his 5th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Woolly Mammoths ahead, 3-2.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Woolly Mammoths manager Kyle Halupka. "This one was nice to get."
