Rattlers Dealt 2-0 Loss
|
In a tight contest between the Temecula Udder Tuggers and the Rancho Cucamonga Rattlers, Phil Reaves was the determining factor. The Temecula left-hander sparkled in his team's 2-0 win. The winning pitcher was Reaves, now 2-0. He tossed 5.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. Rancho Cucamonga drops to 2-5.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ash Aliotti? The Temecula first baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Udder Tuggers on top, 1-0. For the game, Aliotti had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Runs were at a premium," said Temecula manager Danny Rosario.
