Wet weather did not postpone the Dayton-Fort Wayne ballgame.

Jackson Strouse was a major factor in the 6-1 Dayton win over Fort Wayne. The Dragons designated hitter went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winner in relief was Ediño Magdaleno. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 4 innings. He now owns a record of 1-1.

With Dayton leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Strouse hit a fastball from Miguel Gonzáles for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Dragons ahead, 3-0.
