A 3-RBI performance from right fielder Shawn O'Riley, who is tied for 5th in the MID in doubles with 9, led the Westside Woolly Mammoths to a win over the Great Lakes Loons, 10-9. The win was credited to 21-year old right-handed pitcher Razan Shigematsu in relief. His record improves to 1-1. McKenzie Wilkins took the loss. Westside's record now stands at 20-22, placing them 7th in the Midwest League Eastern Division.

The decisive blow was delivered by Chris Garcia in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 22-year old right-handed pitcher McKenzie Wilkins to win the game for Westside. The home crowd went nuts.

"We found a way to get it done," Garcia said.
