The Dayton Dragons wasted an impressive 7-inning effort from starter V.J. Scott, falling 2-1 to the Fort Wayne TinCaps at Parkview Field. Spencer Blake notched his 5th save in 7 chances. The win gives the TinCaps a record of 24-49.
Newton Harward helped out the Fort Wayne cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 3 with a double.
