TinCaps 7-5 Losers to Wolverines

The Flint Wolverines defeated the Fort Wayne TinCaps, 7-5, at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark. Flint left fielder Elías Rojas had a superb performance. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Kajon Davis was credited with the save for Flint, his 16th of the season. The 7th-place Wolverines have a record of 35-42.
Flint took a 7-5 lead on Alvaro Fernández's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Fernández hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Fort Wayne pitcher Todd Owens visibly frustrated.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Fernández said.
