Thao Pops Two Homers in 7-0 Win for Westside
The Westside Woolly Mammoths polished off the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders by the score of 7-0. The largest share of the credit belonged to third baseman Thomas Thao. Thao slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Woolly Mammoths. Jim Henderson, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-5. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 4 hits and no runs, while striking out 7 and walking 1. Westside has now won 4 straight.

With Westside leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Thao hit a fastball from Greg Melvin for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Woolly Mammoths ahead, 5-0.
