Quad Cities Hot Streak Continues with 6-1 Win
|
The Quad Cities River Bandits extended their winning streak.
Moshe Bent never let Ames get something going. The Quad Cities right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the River Bandits to a 6-1 win. The save went to Vince Houston, his 1st this season.
Edward O'Brien helped out the Quad Cities cause in the top of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk.
"I like how we're playing right now," said Bent.
Quad Cities is in 7th place in the Midwest League Western Division with a record of 47-44.
