Brycen Robinson helped his team muscle past the South Bend Cubs, 10-4. In the game, the Great Lakes left fielder was 2-6 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The win puts the Loons at 52-40, while the Cubs drop to 32-60.

Artur Barrera had a big bases-clearing double for the Loons in the top of the seventh inning. With Great Lakes leading 5-4 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher T.J. Short and swatted a double to right. It was his 18th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Loons ahead, 8-4.

Great Lakes manager Eli Coalter commended his team for "putting the hammer down."
