Behind a solid performance from center fielder Belero Ambris, the Madison Muskies defeated the Ames Sod Poodles, 6-5. Ambris was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks for the Muskies. Madison reliever Stephen Morgan was the winner. His record is now 7-4. The losing pitcher was Raynard DeHahn. The Muskies procured the win, in large part because of designated hitter Fidel Adames. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
