Ethan Adams was a major factor in the 7-6 Peoria win over South Bend. The Chiefs first baseman went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Peoria reliever Orion Zoller picked up the win, upping his record to 3-7. Noah Myers was saddled with the loss. Peoria is 8th in the Midwest League Western Division with a record of 42-65.
The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Adams. Facing Noah Myers with a runner on 3rd, the Peoria first baseman had a run-scoring single. Game over, walk-off style!
