James Now 1-3 After Beating River Bandits
|
The home team gave the crowd at Cooley Law School Stadium something to cheer about.
Ricky James pitched a gem in leading Lansing to a 4-1 victory over the Quad Cities River Bandits. Max Snyder got the save, his 5th in 5 chances.
The River Bandits had little chance against James, who overpowered Quad Cities hitters and struck out 10.
"Ricky was cooking with gas," said Lansing manager Mike Pascarella.
The Lugnuts sport a record of 70-38.
