Wolverines Rally For 7-5 Win
The Flint Wolverines topped the Fort Wayne TinCaps by the score of 7-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Sam Myrick. Myrick was 2-3 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Wolverines on the day. Getting the save was John Tilton, his 14th. The Wolverines, at 36-74, sit in last place in the Midwest League Eastern Division.

Flint used the timely hitting of Sean Johnstone to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Wolverines on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Johnstone, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
