Wolverines Rally For 7-4 Win
Flint picked up a win at Parkview Field, toppling the Fort Wayne TinCaps, 7-4. Pitcher Thomas De Torres was one of the reasons the Wolverines triumphed. Flint reliever Paul Rhodes was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Levi Lerum. Mitch Linares earned the save, his 1st in 2 tries.

Sean Johnstone, the 21-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Johnstone contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Flint up, 5-3.

"They played a better game than we did," said Fort Wayne skipper Mario Velasco.

The Wolverines now have a record of 38-74.
