Woolly Mammoths Tear Continues with 6-4 Triumph
The Westside Woolly Mammoths just keep winning.

The inspired effort of Fort Wayne first baseman Frank Viscuso was not enough to prevent a loss, 6-4, to the Westside Woolly Mammoths. Viscuso was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Westside pitcher Sanders Whitmore got the win, upping his record to 3-1. Mike Taylor got the loss.

Lincoln Alford was 1-3 with a walk for Westside. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, Alford had a clutch at-bat. Facing Fort Wayne hurler Mike Taylor, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Woolly Mammoths a 4-3 lead.

"We're playing like a well-oiled machine right now," said Woolly Mammoths manager Chris Stinnett.

Westside, now 63-51, has won 11 straight games.
