Astros Win, 5-1, at Chicago
|
Houston took on Chicago in front of a lively crowd.
Derron McKenzie was locked and loaded, helping the Houston Astros beat the Chicago White Sox, 5-1. Losses have been rare for the White Sox, who are now 9-4.
The Astros benefited from a costly error in the top of the second. With Nick Burkard at bat and Houston leading 1-0, the Chicago miscue allowed Houston to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Burkard told the Houston Observer.
