The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders picked up a win at Ballpark of Burlington, taking down the Great Lakes Loons, 3-2. Starting pitcher Wayne Oden was a big reason why. The winner was Oden. He threw 7.2 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Vince Lamp. The 4th-place Dock Spiders go to 62-56.

With two out in the bottom of the fifth, Scottie Friesen put Fond du Lac in front, 3-1, with a 2-run single. The Dock Spiders went on to win the ballgame.
