Flint and Peoria got after it at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark.

Flint Wolverines starter Thomas De Torres turned in a top-notch performance against the Peoria Chiefs at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark. The result was a win for the Wolverines, 8-2. Peoria's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Cris Traylor dealt the Chiefs a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and Flint leading 2-1, Traylor, who is tied for 2nd in the MID in triples with 7, hit a first pitch fastball for a 2-run single.
