Jack Maynard left his imprint on the 9-3 Beloit win against the Ames Sod Poodles. Maynard went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Beloit pitcher Gage Stephenson got the win. He's now 2-2. Nathan Grimsley was tagged with the loss. Cale Heagy sewed up the save, his 3rd.

The Snappers got a big boost from third baseman Sebastian Stafford who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Sod Poodles hurler Nathan Grimsley. It was his 39th walk of the season and put Beloit on top, 1-0.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said Stafford after the game.

The 8th-place Snappers go to 54-77.
