Fort Wayne Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Westside got a terrific game from shortstop Griffin Medellin. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Fort Wayne, 6-4. Medellin went 3-4 with 2 home runs. Fort Wayne reliever David Henderson picked up the win, upping his record to 5-0. Téo De La Rosa absorbed the loss. The 8th-place TinCaps lifted their record to 54-77.

Fort Wayne won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and Téo De La Rosa on the mound for Westside, designated hitter Zander Prieto hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing TinCaps fans to their feet.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Prieto said.
