Fond du Lac Keeps Spiraling Downward
|
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers went home winners at Ballpark of Burlington, thanks in large part to starter Maxwell Sayers. Sayers stifled the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, enabling Wisconsin to grab the 6-0 win. The Timber Rattlers improved their record to 77-56 by beating Fond du Lac.
Wisconsin used the hitting of Lyle Lotz to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Timber Rattlers on top, 3-0. For the game, Lotz had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"This losing is getting old," said Fond du Lac manager Michael Frazier.
