The Hagerstown Suns found a way to sneak past the Lakewood BlueClaws, 2-1, in 14 innings. Hagerstown pitcher B.J. Vinaja, for one, had a standout performance. With the loss, Lakewood is 0-2.

Hagerstown used the timely hitting of Mike Bryant to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 14th inning to put the Suns on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Big win," said Bryant.
