Drive Hang 2-1 Loss on Legends
|
Greenville Drive starter Jack Ginsbach was in fine form. He led his team to victory over the Lexington Legends, 2-1. The winning pitcher was Ginsbach, now 1-0. He tossed 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 2. Lexington now has a record of 2-2.
Sanson Montero drove in one run for Greenville. The 21-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Steve Bajic. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.
"The object of the game is to score more runs than they do," said Ginsbach. "Mission accomplished."
