The Columbia Fireflies pounded the Lexington Legends, 19-0, at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. Mario García had a solid game. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the Fireflies. Columbia pitcher Luís Rosales got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Declan Zant got the loss.

Columbia used the hitting of Jordan Nichols to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Fireflies on top, 2-0. For the game, Nichols had 2 home runs and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"I have nothing to complain about," said winning manager Gunner Litherland after the game.
