Bananas Knock Off Braves at Ballpark of Savannah
Brae Woods was a major factor in the 5-1 Savannah win over Rome. The Bananas shortstop went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. Andrew Chamberlain picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Ace Hoffman was tagged with the loss. With the win, Savannah boosts its record to 6-6.

There were several reasons the Bananas beat the Braves, but one factor was Maximiliano Maldonado. In the bottom of the fourth, the Savannah second baseman came to bat and hit a 2-run double. It staked his team to a 2-1 lead.

"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Woods.
