|
In a low-scoring affair between the Charleston RiverDogs and the Columbia Fireflies, pitcher Cal Barton was the difference between victory and defeat. The Charleston right-hander earned accolades in the 1-0 RiverDogs win. Charleston goes to 8-4.
Hunter Berg went 1 for 3 for Charleston. In the bottom of the fifth, with the teams deadlocked, 0-0, Berg delivered for the RiverDogs. His run-scoring single put Charleston on top, 1-0.
