Kannapolis defeated Greenville today at Fluor Field at the West End. The star of the game for the Intimidators was shortstop Lawrence DeStefano. His hitting heroics included a 5-for-6 day, paving the way for Kannapolis's 8-1 triumph over the Drive. Lawrence DeStefano singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
