RiverDogs Win Squeaker, 3-2, Over Intimidators
|
Starting pitcher Josh Snowden gave the Charleston RiverDogs a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Kannapolis Intimidators, 3-2, at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. The win belonged to Diego Tamayo in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Josh Wong took the loss for Kannapolis. Charleston is now 3-7.
Liam Paquette was the walk-off hero for Charleston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the RiverDogs pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Snowden said.
