The Charleston RiverDogs defeated the Bowling Green Hot Rods, 4-3, in South Atlantic League action at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. Charleston pitcher Kameron Clark had a standout performance. The winner in relief was Kelly Gunter. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. He now owns a record of 1-1. The win has Charleston at 7-11.

The RiverDogs got a big at-bat from left fielder Cy Watt. For the game, Watt was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Charleston a 3-2 lead.
